Of the Month

Beijing is a world-famous city for its long history and
splendid culture. Located in the northeastern corner of
China, Beijing had been the Capital of four Dynasties
before the founding of PRC and also the heart and soul of
politics and society. It's Great Wall, splendid palaces,
beautiful gardens, old temples, a considerable variety of
exhibitions and museums show its glorious history and
civilization.
With preparations for the 2008 Olympics well
under way, old hutongs (valleys) and buildings are being
demolished, new buildings are going up, small things are
giving way to big things and big things are giving way to
even bigger things.
